The Hospital for Sick Children and www.aboutkidshealth.ca want to know how parents find and use health information. Specifically, they are hoping to learn from parents about their current health information seeking strategies, struggles, resources, and needs.

The findings from this study will be used to guide an extensive re-design of Sick Kid’s online health information library, www.aboutkidshealth.ca. Findings will also be shared with health care providers at the Hospital for Sick Children and in the community. The goal is to help health care professionals provide good patient and family health education.
This research will benefit all Canadian families who seek care at the Hospital for Sick Children or who access its health resources at AboutKidsHealth.ca.
